I'm Starting a Brewery!

Well...it's been roughly 2.5 years since I've posted on this Blog. A lot has changed, personally, locational-y, and ideologically. To be honest, 2.5 years ago I thought I would end up pursuing religion vocationally in some form or another. Having come to the realization that this would not be the case, I decided to let my life's plan just flush itself out. And it has, in a way I never could have predicted or expected.

So what am I doing now? Working a job that pays the bills, loving God and family, and starting a brewery.

Beer is something I've always enjoyed and found highly compatible with my faith. In fact, I've been brewing it for years in my backyard. The stuff I brew is awesome (not tooting my own horn, just being honest) and now I'm ready...in fact feel called...to brew it professionally. Currently, along with my business partner who I met in Bible College, I'm raising money to open a very small brewery in Kansas City, MO.

Please check it out! Here is a link: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1693254250/wilderness-brewing-co

Or, you can just click any word in this article. Please at least go watch the video to learn more. If you feel so inclined, please consider supporting this cause in any way, whether it be spreading the word, pledging money (you get a reward), or just showing some love.

Cheers!!!

Nate, I'm a friend of Strange Cultures and have been reading your Thank Heaven for Beer blog. Congrats on starting your brewery! Also, I never noticed that you were from Kansas City, and I just moved here! So hopefully that means that I will have better access to your beer.

Also, where do you go to church in KC?

Hey! I remember your blog, but not your name...was it Ashley? That's a stab in the dark.

Thanks for the congrats...very excited as we move forward. I moved to KC a year ago...how long have you been here.

Shoot me an email if you get a chance: nate@wildernessbrewingco.com

Cheers to ya! Starting your own business is an exciting thing. It's a lot of work, especially if you're looking at it as more than a hobby. To be successful in it, you have to work hard.
